December 2006 | The Teddy Bears

October - November 2006 | Stewart Price

August - September 2006 | Jenny Wilson

The Flashbaggie were first introduced to the illuminating (and captivating) Ms. Wilson in the spring of 2004 whilst driving up the California coast en route to the magical port destination of San Francisco. We will never forget that magical time of days past; the "Nerves" Cd on constant repeat in the compact disc player, the winding PCH highway spiraling endlessly into infinity, aqua-green waves crashing into the magestic cliffs below the road, and the mesmerizing sound of the First Floor Power and Jenny Wilson sweetly seducing the Flashbaggie's heart. Jenny hails from Stockholm, Sweden and is currently featured on the The Knife's record label, Rabid Records. Visit iTunes to learn more.

July 2006 | Tiga

The featured song is "The Ballad of Sexor" by Montreal-based DJ/Producer/Prophet Tiga. Tiga entered the Montreal dance scene in the early 90s, after taking an inspirational tour of the late 1980s Goa club scene in India. Tiga is a man of many faces and he shape-shifts as quickly and easily as any X-Man mutant. From his cover of "Hott in Here" by Nelly, to his re-interpretation of the Corey Hart hit "Sunglasses at Night", to his most recent work on the album "Welcome to Planet Sexor", Tiga continuously confounds, confuses, and creates dancefloor chaos with his infectious beats and bottomless well of imagination. Only Tiga could inspire a die-hard disco pundit like myself to write endless run-on sentences in an attempt to describe the well spring of love that pours from my heart whenever I hear "Far From Home" or "You Gonna Want Me". As Tiga says, "The citizen may take a bride, but it is the rifleman who takes a lover. Ultimately we all must choose either the myth or the mountain.”. Visit Tiga's website or go directly to iTunes.com to purchase the MP3s for your life-long enjoyment.

June 2006 | Caged Baby

The song above is "Hello There" by UK-based Caged Baby. Tom Gandey, aka, Caged Baby, hails from the foggy beaches of lovely Brighton, and has blessed the worldwide dance community with his nostalgic, yet rump-shaking brand of electro-pop. The diminuitevely named DJ wreaked dancefloor devastion with this year's hit "16 Lovers" and continues to shock and amaze with his prolific, yet inspired, remixes and original works. Visit Caged Baby's website, or head directly to iTunes for more information.

May 2006 | Alan Braxe & Fred Falke

The song above is the flashtastic retro tune "Palladium" by Alan Braxe and Fred Falke. Producer Braxe and bassist Falke have been working together for over a decade and have created seminal masterpieces such as "Running", "Love Lost" and "Most Wanted". The two have also done remixes with a wide variety of artists, such as Annie, Death From Above, Goldfrapp and even Britney Spears (don't let this last fact discourage you). Their partnership has proved to be a magical connection, and music fans all over the world are consistently delighted and surprised by the depth of imagination and sonic substance these two provide. Trivia: Alan's “Braxe” nickname comes from the region in Southern France, BRAX, where he spent his childhood. Visit iTunes for more information.
